On December 5th 2025 local radio stations 102.5 The BONE & 97x teamed with Elysian Space Dust IPA and threw an event at the locally iconic Jannus Live called “Mockapalooza”.
Jannus Live was no stranger to the biggest names in music. But the musicians taking the stage this night were of a different caliber.
Three bands were billed to perform.

The Stone Temple Pilots Project- A Tribute to STP, based in South Florida
Spoonmen- Tribute to Soundgarden, from Tampa.
Suffer- A Tribute To Staind, from Daytona Beach, Florida
& Signs of Sacrifice- Tribute to Creed, from Tampa.

In the tribute world it’s a rather split scene. You have bands that cover the songs the love. Then you have bands, the become the big names their paying homage to.
These three bands were the latter. These bands weren’t just tributes to the national names known from the late 90s and 2000s.
They became them! The sound, presence, and the feel of the performance made those in attendance quickly drop all assumptions they had and cheer. To the point where local radio personalities Drew Garabo and John Senning said “Holy Sh!T, this is awesome!
