July 22, 2025 the music world lost one of its most Iconic and influential names in history. John Michael Osbourne, known world wide as “Ozzy”.
The news of his passing was felt around the world by musicians and fans alike. Those of us here in the Tampa area were no different.

Musicians from all over started talking about Ozzy’s influence on their careers and tribute shows to the Prince Of Darkness involving the biggest names in music started popping up everywhere.

I started hearing a buzz that some of Tampas top local musicians and national artists that called the area home were talking of putting together not only a tribute, but a charity event. One that would support research for Parkinson’s disease, Ozzy suffered from for a long time.

When the details of this show started to come out, I quickly learned this wasn’t an ordinary tribute. The line up wasn’t just a hand full of musicians, it was long enough to fill every seat on a Greyhound bus.
Two drum kits, multiple vocalist. Dueling guitars and some of the biggest names in metal. And the venue.. none other than the Iconic Jannus LIVE, St. Petersburg, Fl.
